LIAM Gallagher is one of the biggest faces in the British rock scene and rumours of an Oasis reunion has stirred up a renewed interest in the singer. But who is his girlfriend Debbie Gwyther, who has apparently converted the rocker to a healthy lifestyle ? Debbie is a music manager and the girlfriend of Oasis singer Liam Gallagher — who is eleven years her senior. She had been widely credited with getting Liam’s life back on track after his band break-ups and the shattering of his relationship with brother Noel .
Debbie is said to have got him onto a healthy lifestyle and encourages him to get up at 5am for seven-mile runs. And her Instagram is full of photos of the couple enjoying luxury trips abroad or drinking with pals. Debbie began working as Liam's personal assistant in 2013, after a stint as an artist manager at London firm Quest.
The pair began dating after Liam’s relationship with Nicole Appleton ended in divorce in 2014. Nicole was a member of British pop group All Saints , which has smash hits such as Pure Shores and Never Ever. Liam proposed to Debbie on the Amalfi Coast in 2019.
The ex-Oasis singer had previously tied the knot with two other women, including Patsy Kensit and All Saint's Nicole. Debbie and Liam had to postpone their wedding , though, to give the singer time to recover from hip surgery. The couple made headlines when The Sun revealed that Liam had grabbed Debbie by the throat , while they were on a night out in 2018.
The incident occurred at Chiltern Firehouse in London’s Marylebone. Footage of the event was described as "shocking" by Women's Aid and some celebrities, such as Nicola McClean, even suggested that Debbie should contact the police . Debbie described the media coverage of the event as "sexist" and "fake news".
The Oasis singer was formally questioned by the police about the incident. Later, he had a second son with his second wife Nicole Appleton , in 2001, named Gene. His fourth child, Gemma, was born in 2013.
