We’re super close. It’s a special relationship. That very much is unchanged,” she told People in 2021.
“I’m grateful that we have that bond. It’s strong and I’m glad that it has not really been affected in any way by all the craziness.” Meena has also been vocal about how she might not necessarily have the same opinions as Kamala or Joe Biden.
“I may have different views than she does, and Joe does too by the way. But I think people just want to be heard. People are looking for ways to communicate, to be heard, and I respect that, and I think it’s important to remind yourself that it’s not usually personal,” she told The Cut in 2021.
