Sydney Roosters team captain James Tedesco and his wife Maria Glinellis stole the spotlight at the 2024 Dally M Awards in Sydney on Wednesday night. The genetically-blessed couple are regulars on the red carpet and often find themselves on the best-dressed list thanks to their sophisticated sense of style. The lovebirds tied the knot in January 2023.
James and Maria, who is believed to be of Greek heritage, married at the Hunter Valley at Redleaf Wollombi in a stunning garden wedding. Redleaf Wollombi is a luxury self-contained home only 3km from the historic township of Wollombi and a short drive to Hunter Valley wineries. Joining in the festivities were Tedesco's team mates and footy friends, including Mitchell Moses, who was his best man.
The pair welcomed their daughter Rosie in September 2023. Maria's family are hospitality entrepreneurs, co-owning Ironwood Coffee on Sydney's lower north shore.
