1 Celebrity Supercar Dealer'' according to his Instagram bio. As of August 2024, Gehdu works as sales director at GVE London — a supercar dealership. He sells some of the most desirable motors on the planet, including McLarens, Ferraris and Mercedes, to the rich and famous — as well as anyone else with the budget to afford one.
The business's website states: "GVE London is one of the leading independent suppliers of supercars and luxury cars. "As well as being Suppliers of Luxury Cars, we also purchase Luxury Vehicles and Supercars, offering competitive rates." However, it's not always a smooth ride for George, as he was confronted by an unpleasant incident in February 2023.
He posted a video to his social media of a hoody-wearing thug jumping up and down on the bonnet of his £225,000 orange McLaren. The yob caved in the windscreen, causing thousands of pounds of damage to the luxury car, before being aprehended by cops . George captioned the post: "Won’t let this get to me, but putting it out there to show you supercar owners — please be careful as there are scum not even worth stepping on out there in this world who don’t want anyone to own anything nice.
"Unfortunately the police actually came quick enough to make sure I couldn’t get my own way with this vile piece of scum." George has sold cars to a number of famous faces, regularly sharing snaps alongside his clients and their brand-new motors. The supercar dealer has sold cars to football stars David De Gea, Wilfried Zaha, Ruben Neves and Rodrigo Bentancur .
And it isn't just famous football faces either, with singer and ex-Love Island star Wes Nelson , rapper Tion Wayne and Salt Bae also counted as well-known customers, according to his Instagram page. In 2023, George sold a new set of wheels to Bonnie Locket , who has been dubbed the "hottest petrolhead" on the internet. Just months earlier, Rangers star Borna Barisic was spotted with George at the dealership's HQ.
As a sales director surrounded by luxury vehicles, it comes as no surprise that Gehdu has a favourite supercar of his own. Sharing a glimpse into his life on the official GVE London website, Gehdu revealed that his favourite supercar was a Lamborghini SC20. Aside from his passion for fast cars, Gehdu also revealed that his favourite film is The Wolf of Wall Street and that his hobbies include making deals, travelling and football.
