An Indian-origin real estate developer and film producer Anita Verma-Lallian has purchased 'Friends' star Matthew Perry's Los Angeles home. 54-year-old Perry was found dead at his Los Angeles home last October. A postmortem report revealed a high concentration of the drug ketamine was found in his blood and determined the "acute effects" of the controlled substance had killed him.

Anita Verma Lallian purchased the Pacific Palisades property for USD 8.55 million. Before moving in, Lillian and her family held a traditional 'puja' ceremony to bless the home and pay tribute to the spirit of the late actor.

A practising Hindu, Anita also shared photos of a pooja ceremony she held to bless her new home. “As part of our tradition, it's customary to perform a blessing and prayer whenever we purchase a new home. We were fortunate to have our Panditji from Arizona come to lead the ceremony,” she said.
