Mumbai, December 20, 2024 (Yes Punjab News) Whistling Woods International (WWI), India’s leading film, communication and creative arts institute, proudly hosted Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary – Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, for a transformative roundtable conference focused on shaping the future of the media and entertainment industry. The event was attended by a distinguished group of leaders from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and other prominent figures within the industry. The roundtable, held at WWI, gathered top thought leaders, industry stakeholders, and policymakers to discuss emerging trends, innovative collaborations, and the opportunities and challenges facing India’s thriving media and entertainment sector.

The conference was guided by the visionary leadership of Subhash Ghai, Founder and Chairperson of WWI, alongside the pioneer of technology, Chaitanya Chinchlikar, Vice President of WWI. Both emphasised the importance of nurturing talent, expanding creative horizons, and forging stronger connections between the Indian entertainment ecosystem and global markets. Subhash Ghai, a renowned filmmaker and educationist, highlighted the importance of collaboration for the future of India’s media and entertainment industry and said, “The entertainment and media industry is the heart of India’s creative economy.
