The Whistler Film Festival (WFF) is back, returning to the mountain town from December 4 to 8 with a diverse lineup of over 100 films, panels, and networking events to unite cinephiles and industry professionals alike.

This year’s festival highlights include the opening night screening of The Last Showgirl, starring Pamela Anderson and Jamie Lee Curtis, and the closing film Better Man , tracing the highs and lows of British pop icon Robbie Williams’ career. Ticketholders will also enjoy a packed schedule of music-themed films as part of the WFF’s new “Play It Loud!” programming.

“We couldn’t imagine a better place to premiere our documentary than at the site of one of our top three most memorable gigs—the concert in the square after Sidney Crosby’s golden goal at the 2010 Olympic Games,” said Cuddy in a release. “We’re thrilled to share our story with the incredible people of Whistler and can’t wait to take in that beautiful mountain air once again.” One of the most anticipated elements of WFF24 is the Borsos Competition for Best Canadian Feature, which spotlights a dozen Canadian films vying for cash.
