Login Lawyer and hospitality entrepreneur Faddy Zouky has had his Australian assets frozen until he pays nearly $9.6 million to a Chinese former business partner who accused him of misleading him over an investment in a Sydney hospital cafe.

The founder of Zouki, which runs cafes in medical centres across three states and the ACT, fell out with Suilong Liu, a Chinese businessman dubbed “the shoe king” by China’s media, over a joint venture at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
