Preity Zinta is listed among some of the finest actresses in the country, popular for her beauty and versatile on-screen lead roles. As per some earlier reports, the actress was offered a fortune worth hundreds of crore, which she did not accept. Preity Zinta was considered a daughter by filmmaker Shandaar Amrohi, who is the son of prominent veteran filmmaker Kamal Amrohi.

If the reports are to be believed, Shandaar wanted to leave all his ancestral property to Preity Zinta. The property’s worth reportedly stood at Rs 600 crore. The actress took the decision to decline the offer.



As per a report, Preity shared a statement with the media, refuting the rumours related to the story, saying that no one can take the place of her father. She stated further, “I am not in such a bad position that someone else’s property is required.” At the moment, Preity Zinta is basking in the success of Veer-Zara, which was re-released in theatres on September 13.

The film is directed by Yash Chopra, while Aditya Chopra is credited as the writer. It included Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta as the leads. They were supported by Rani Mukerji, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Divya Dutta, Manoj Bajpayee, Boman Irani and Anupam Kher.

The film is produced by Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The music of the film was done by Madan Mohan and R S Mani while the cinematographer Anil Mehta and Ritesh Soni did the editing. The film has recorded over Rs 102 crore at the box-office, combining the collections of its 2004 release and 2024 re-release.

She was last seen in the film Bhaiaji Superhit, which was released in 2018. The cast included names like Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Arshad Warsi, Ameesha Patel and Shreyas Talpade. It is produced by Chirag Mahendra Dhariwal under the banner of Metro Movies.
