Coldplay is coming to India in January 2025 with two big shows planned in Mumbai. The Grammy-winning band, known for their timeless hits such as Yellow and Sky Full of Stars, will perform in Mumbai on January 18 and 19, 2025, at the iconic D.Y.

Patil Sports Stadium. Coldplay has a massive following in India and they often perform here. Back in 2015, they even played a surprise gig in Delhi.



Vishal Dadlani had opened up about the band’s lead singer, Chris Martin, playing a surprise gig in Delhi’s Summer House. Vishal told the Hindustan Times, “We all were having dinner along with Raghu (Dixit) and AIB, after which Chris just said, ‘Let’s go play somewhere.’ So we did.

He sang, the crowd sang, and I sang backing vocals.

Chris borrowed Raghu’s guitar and played an acoustic set. He sang Fix You, Paradise, and Viva La Vida.” Raghu also shared his excitement and said, “We just walked into a bar to chill and out of nowhere Chris wanted to sing.

So the DJ stopped, and we connected my guitar and all hell broke loose. This goes down as my best night this year.” Now, the British singer and his band will be back in India in 2025.

Tickets for Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour in India go live on September 22, 2024, at 12 Noon (PM) IST, exclusively on BookMyShow. Coldplay has also confirmed they will make a limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows at 12 Noon (PM) IST on Friday, November 22, 2024, on BookMyShow. The main tickets are priced between Rs 2,500 to Rs 35,000.
