After narrowly missing the train in Paris, she samples gourmet insects crafted by a world-class chef, gets a little tipsy on absinthe, finds her place as a catwalk model in Paris Fashion Week and spends a night at the Crazy Horse Cabaret.
Nice work if you can get it, and all amiably done, but don’t expect too many stunning insights into Paris itself. 7pm, BBC Two Joining Sara Cox’s book group this week are comedian and author Richard Ayoade , podcaster and author Elizabeth Day , comedian Maisie Adam and actor and author Stephen Mangan .
