Premier League fans in the UK wanting to watch Chelsea's clash against Nottingham Forest today will be left sorely disappointed. The Blues have been on an incredible run of form as of late, pipping Gent 4-2 in the Europa Conference League midweek, after disposing of Brighton in the league with the same score line last weekend - Cole Palmer putting all four goals past Bart Verbruggen in the first half in record-breaking fashion. Those results have contributed to a real feelgood vibe around Stamford Bridge, and they'll be looking to keep the heat on the likes of Liverpool , Arsenal and Manchester City when they meet Nottingham Forest at 2pm today.

Forest have had a decent start of their own, having recorded two wins, three draws and a single loss in their opening six matches. They have already displayed giant-slaying capabilities with a 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield, and Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking for more of the same this afternoon. With a tense top flight battle set for 2pm, many fans would have been hoping to watch along from home - but unless you're inside the ground, UK fans will have to settle for the highlights later this evening.

Why is Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest not being shown on TV in the UK? While a number of Premier League games weren't shown yesterday due to the Premier League's 3pm blackout - including Arsenal's clash with Southampton and Manchester City's meeting with Fulham at the Etihad - there is no such prevention in place on Sundays. Unfortun.
