As August rolls around, the entertainment scene is heating up, with a slate of exciting releases all queued up and ready to go. It seems as though every fan-favourite series is returning this month, and the first on our list is, of course, Season 4 of Emily in Paris . With the cliff-hanger of the last season sending Emily (and all of us) reeling, there is one question on everyone’s minds: Will Emily and Gabriel finally get together? Now that they are both newly single and her feelings for him have been revealed, it seems like a possibility.

But with Gabriel also expecting a baby with his ex, there’s no telling what might happen. Next up: the return of Pachinko . Based on Min Jin Lee’s acclaimed novel of the same name, this gorgeous, sweeping epic chronicles the lives of a Korean family across four generations as they move to Japan before the start of World War II.

In its second season, the narrative unfolds in two parallel timelines: Osaka in 1945, where Sunja must navigate dangerous choices to protect her family during World War II, and Tokyo in 1989, where Solomon seeks new beginnings.
