First things first, we will get to meet the line-up and see them in a way we have never seen them before as they undertake the incredible challenge. Of course viewers will recognise the famous faces - Brook, Mills, Brazier and Bokinni - but it is a chance to see them interacting with a loved one of theirs who isn't usually in the spotlight. This in itself will bring a whole new different dynamic to the celebrity we usually see in the limelight, as well as the fact the stars must cope without their mobile phones and bankcards or any luxuries they are used to while travelling.

No doubt viewers will begin to decide who their favourites might be, cast your vote in our poll below. One of the very first things we will see in the episode is the Celebrity Race Across the World stars handing over their smart phones and bank cards. The celebrities must say goodbye to the luxuries they are used to having.

Instead they must put their fate into the hands of strangers and their kindness along the way. For some of the stars, this was a huge draw for doing the show. Parisi said he was looking forward to giving away his phone for the duration of filming.

He said: "We work with our phone 24/7. You wake up and check your emails, your messages. Now, everybody needs a phone, it’s a part of our lives, social media and everything.

So, I'm quite happy to give my phone away and do a 5-week experience without it." Bokinni's cousin Mary Ellen too was excited by the prospect of leaving her phone behind while travelling the world. She said: "I actually feel really excited about being disconnected from the world.

Just the pressure of social media and having to respond to people, knowing that I can separate from that is great. But it's just how dependent I've become on Google Maps for example. Using my phone for navigating, that’s going to be the biggest like “Oh my god if we could just Google this.

"" Contestants kick off the on the starting line in Belém, Northern Brazil, which is the gateway to the Amazon. We will see the stars get to grips with how the show works and we may begin to find out the strengths as well as the weaknesses of those taking part.
