net Nikki De Moura is set to relinquish her Miss Grand Philippines crown to her successor soon, and she imparted the qualities she hopes to find in the lady who will inherit the title. “I’m looking for someone who’s fearless and bold and not afraid to do the unknown,” the Brazilian-Filipino model told INQUIRER.net at the sidelines of the presentation of the 2024 Miss Grand Philippines candidates held in Makati City on Monday, Sept.
23. De Moura won her second national title when crowned Miss Grand Philippines last year. Her first one was the Miss Teen Philippines title she received in 2019.
In 2021, at the age of 17, she became one of the three Filipino models who competed in season 6 of the reality competition “Supermodel Me: Revolution” where she finished as a runner-up. What’s next for De Moura after embarking on a colorful career in pageantry and modeling at such a young age? “I think I really want to focus more on studies, things I like to do other than pageantry, to really find myself, because I’m really just 20 years old,” she said. “I think I have many more years until I can join a pageant again.
So yeah, as of now, I’m just going to focus on my personality, you know, getting mentally strong and everything,” De Moura continued. Reigning Miss Grand Philippines Nikki de Moura. Image: Armin P.
