Since his boxing career, McGuigan has become a successful boxing trainer and pundit but now he’s taking on his latest challenge as he’s gone Down Under with a number of other celebrities for this year’s series of the ITV reality show. Born in Clones, Monaghan, McGuigan was credited with uniting both Catholic and Protestant fans in support at the height of the Troubles. Barry McGuigan won the world featherweight title with a famous victory over title holder Eusebio Pedroza in London in 1985.
