The with Chapter 430, marking the end of a decade-long journey of young heroes. Created by Kohei Horikoshi, the series began on July 7, 2014, in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. In the final chapter, we jump eight years ahead after the end of the final battle, getting a timeskip conclusion.

It’s revealed that the now-Quirkless Midoriya is a teacher at U.A. In one scene, Shota Aizawa advises Midoriya on how to mentor aspiring Pro Heroes, using his own experiences to guide them.



The chapter also updates us on other characters. Mei Hatsume has started a design agency called Lightly Labs, and Tentacole has received a peace prize. The hero landscape has shifted, with fewer villains emerging, requiring only a handful of powerful heroes to protect humanity.

Characters like Ingenium, Froppy, Creati, and Uravity now tour schools and engage in roles like Quirk counselling, led by Uravity. Such roles have become common in the setting now. The My Hero Academia manga does such a great job of making you feel the impactful scenes — VIZ (@VIZMedia) Despite their busy lives, Midoriya reflects on how he and his friends, now busy celebrities starring in advertisements and having their own with fanbases, rarely meet.

The chapter tricks you into thinking this is where the story ends, however, the last pages take a different turn. This is done by the appearance of All Might, as Midoriya reminisces about his time at U.A.

at the All Might statue. Having returned from overseas, All Might reveals an improved version of Midoriya's mechanical suit, developed by Katsuki Bakugo and other Class 1-A members, owing to progressing technology. All Might reveals that this suit will allow Midoriya to continue his dream of being a hero despite being Quirkless, standing shoulder to shoulder with his Pro Hero friends.
