Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Nashley House residential care home. The home, registered for up to 51 residents, has been owned by Ingrid O’Brien and Cliodhna O’Sullivan since 2015. And following a confidential sales process with Oliver McCarthy at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by an experienced operator, Eqvitus Ltd, which owns two other homes located in Maidenhead and Reading.
It is located in a quiet conservation area in the coastal town of Weston-super-Mare and stands in a beautiful mature garden on the south side of the town. Built in 1903 as a private residence, the house has seen many changes but today it provides a comfortable, elegant, home-from-home. Ingrid O’Brien and Cliodhna O’Sullivan, former owners of Nashley House, said: “It was a hard decision to sell Nashley House, but we wanted to explore other business options outside the sector.
“We are pleased to be handing the keys over to the team at Eqvitus Ltd who, we’re sure, will build on the great reputation we have built up over the last nine years. We wish them all the best.” Adam Heeroo, managing director at Eqvitus Ltd, said: “I wish to extend my thanks to the amazing outgoing owners for their dedication and passion in running this home.
“Their commitment to exceptional care has ensured high standards throughout, a legacy to be very proud of, which I will continue and enhance under my custodianship. “I wish Ingrid and Cid the best of .
