WESTFIELD — In the fast-paced world of the 21st century, technology — whether it’s computers or smartphones — is less of a luxury and more of a necessity as a way to connect to the community and the world. To help people feel more comfortable using technology, the Westfield Athenaeum offers several technology services free of charge for any library patron. Christian Boor, the technology services librarian, said a wide range of people in the Westfield area, from college students to working adults, could benefit.
Services include laptops, Internet access to households and technical assistance to teach patrons basic tech literacy..
