Everyone loves a unique hotel feature, but sometimes the design can leave some a little stumped. One traveller recently experienced this when checking into a room during a family holiday to Tokyo , Japan . The bathroom walls were, in fact, completely see-through.

Sharing the image and video with 9Travel, the guest revealed they stayed at the Ana Intercontinental in Tokyo. The luxury 5-star hotel located in Akasaka is described online as a "hotel with vibrance and elegance". The contemporary guest rooms are "for the global traveller" and are appointed with designs inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi.

Not too long ago another traveller in the US shared an interesting photo of a room online. In a post on Reddit, he revealed he had been staying at Hotel Goodwin in Beloit, Wisconsin, saying "the shower in my hotel is a glass cube in the centre of the room.

" The hotel's website confirmed that some of the rooms include a "three-sided glass shower enclosure" and "rainforest-like shower head". The design feature sparked plenty of comments. "The voyeur suite," one person quipped.
