GUESTS only have a few weeks left to visit an iconic waterpark home to over a dozen water rides and restaurants. The beloved New York City escape Splash Down Beach in Fishkill, New York , only two hours north, will shut down for the season on September 2. As the summer season winds down, many are trying get in as much time outdoors in the warm weather as possible.

Splash Down Beach is the perfect place for families looking to escape the August heat while having some fun. The amusement park is home to New York’s largest water playground, the Pelican Bay Water Playground. Pelican Bay features four brand-new waterslides and a 500-gallon dumping bucket, according to the park’s website.

The water park doesn’t just have exciting water rides but also has several restaurant options for hungry guests. Food service options include Cowabunga Grill, Boardwalk Pizza, Humunga Burger, Victor’s Street Corn, and Snacka, plus a Candy Shoppe for those wanting a sweet treat.

Splash Down Beach guests from all over the world have posted on Facebook raving about their great day at the park. “Spent such a beautiful day with our cousins at SplashDown Beach in Fishkill,” one woman posted. “Lazy River, Pools, slides, lunch and more slides.

A weekday full-day pass will cost individuals under 42 inches $54, while those over 42 inches in height will pay $59.
