As I listen to Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters review his term as president, I have to ask if people’s memories aren’t screaming NOT SO. Under Trump, more than a million people died from the Coronavirus, far more than needed to die if Trump had not pretended that the virus was unimportant and under control so he could promote his personal brand of ignorance and showmanship. The supply chain buckled badly so that basic goods were constantly in short supply.

Trump publicly supported white nationalism, stood side by side with Vladimir Putin and said he believed Putin rather than his own intelligence agency, filled positions of national importance with his inexperienced children, threatened NATO with lack of support and ended Roe v .Wade. ” Do not let yourself off the hook thinking it’s a taboo subject. My recent personal experience has shown me that there are people (strangers) who are one honest, caring conversation away from deciding whom to vote for or from deciding whether to vote at all. There are disengaged folks who truly just need a stranger to talk to them for.
