A wedding car adorned with pink ribbons was pulled over by police in for sporting illegal window tints. The white Bentley became the focus of attention for Wiltshire Police's road safety unit. were conducting checks to ensure compliance with legal tint levels on vehicle windows and windscreens.
During their operation on Saturday, several vehicles were stopped, including the hired wedding car. To add to the driver's woes, they were also found to be without insurance and subsequently reported for this offence. A spokesperson for the force commented: "Several illegal tints dealt with, fine and removal.
" They clarified the legal requirements, stating: "Legal limit for side windows is 70 per cent, windscreen 75 per cent." The spokesperson added that the incident led to the driver of the hired wedding car being reported for lacking insurance..
