Despite Blizzard recently discovering a potential game-altering bug, Diablo 4 Season 5 continues its smooth start after the devs decided to turn it into a temporary feature instead. For those unfamiliar, the bug in question has somehow allowed players to carry over tempering recipes from the last season to the current one, meaning you won’t have to unlock any you’d previously acquired. However, , Diablo’s global community development director, did emphasize that “this isn’t the original design or intention, so [he] wouldn’t expect this for future seasons.



” You’ll need to remember, though, that there are new tempering recipes for every class available in Season 5, so you will still need to grind out a few before you can access everything. It’s also worth noting that the tempering values on each recipe will reflect those in the new season, so your and might not be as effective as before. Bash Cleave enjoyers, in particular, will be devastated to know that it is no longer a viable build in Season 5 after the devs reduced its percentages from 85/95/105% to a measly 15/17.
