Lanterns were released from a Suffolk beach in memory of a "shining star" mother who died after a stabbing in Ipswich. Emergency services were called to Burrell Road shortly after 7.10pm on Tuesday, August 6 following reports a woman had been stabbed.
The victim, who was later named as 26-year-old Courtney Mitchell, suffered serious injuries and died a short time later in hospital.
