Greg Hardy ’s combat sports journey continues to take strange turns. On Friday, Hardy faced Russian boxer and kickboxer Alexei Papin in the squared circle at Megasport Sport Palace in Moscow. Hardy entered the ring undefeated in boxing, but that soon changed as in the third round.

Hardy was not re-signed by the promotion after fighting out his contract in 2022 and ending on a three-fight losing streak. Since leaving the UFC, Hardy has participated in boxing and bare-knuckle boxing, and was recently announced as one of the signings of new MMA promotion Global Fight League..
