Deommodore Lenoir scored the first touchdown of his career in spectacular fashion. The San Francisco 49ers cornerback picked up the football after a blocked field goal attempt and returned the ball 61 yards for a “scoop-and-score” touchdown on Sunday. San Francisco defensive tackle Jordan Elliott blocked the 35-yard field goal attempt by Arizona Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland.
Lenoir scooped up the football at the 40 and saw nothing but green grass in front of him. Here’s a close-up look at Elliott’s block. The score was the first touchdown of Lenoir’s four-year career and gave the 49ers a 20-10 lead late in the second quarter.
