Chris Martin found himself in Las Vegas this weekend, not only as a performer at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival but also as a surprise guest at a local karaoke bar. The Coldplay frontman didn’t just perform at the T-Mobile Arena; he also made an unexpected appearance at Dino’s Lounge, a famous karaoke spot, where he treated the audience to a brand-new Coldplay song. So, if the visitors noticed someone at Dino’s Lounge in Las Vegas who sounded far too good to be an average karaoke singer, they might have been onto something.

Chris Martin, taking a break from Coldplay’s massive Music of the Spheres tour, donned a disguise and slipped into the role of a regular guy blowing off steam in Vegas. He was reportedly there to film the video for All My Love, a song from the band’s next album, Moon Music. Martin was in town to perform during the second night of the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival.

He headed to the karaoke bar for a little fun. Dressed in an oversized suit, sporting a copper-coloured wig and wearing glasses, he even carried a balloon with him on stage. There, Martin sang the ballad All My Love from Coldplay’s upcoming 10th studio album, which is set to release on October 4.

A post shared by Coldplay (@coldplay) In fan videos captured at the event, Martin is seen swaying on stage, seemingly a little nervous, as the crowd murmurs and cheers in the background. During his performance, he invites a woman to join him on stage, giving her the balloon before continuing the song without distraction. Watch it here: At the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Martin performed stripped-down versions of Coldplay’s popular songs, including Yellow, A Sky Full of Stars, Viva la Vida, Hymn for the Weekend and the collaboration with The Chainsmokers, Something Just Like This.

He also debuted We Pray, another track from Moon Music, performing it alongside guest artist Elyanna, informs Billboard. According to Rolling Stone, Moon Music, which features the single feelslikeimfallinginlove, is scheduled to drop on October 4. The following day, Coldplay will appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, hosted by Nate Bargatze, on October 5.

Afterwards, the band will start a tour of Australia and New Zealand to promote their new album..
