GOWER, Mo. - David Keith Walters, 77, of Gower, Missouri, passed away, Oct. 24, 2024.

He was born on April 28, 1947, to Don and Evelyn (Crump) Walters, in St. Joseph. David graduated from Easton High School.



He received a drafting degree from Platt College. David then served his country in the U.S.

Air Force during the Vietnam War. David worked for Kansas City Power and Light and farmed for many years. He owned and operated D&S Small Engine, in Gower.

David was a volunteer for the Gower Fire Department and was a bus driver for the East Buchanan School District. David was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. He loved to go fishing and spend time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Don and Darryl. David is survived by his wife, Sharron, of 55 years; children, Connie, Bonnie, Larry, Shawn, and Danielle; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Private Family Service will be held at Allen Cemetery.
