Wagamama has unveiled its new menu - and the chain restaurant says there is something for everyone to try. The menu was introduced on October 2 as part of the brand's 'no one way to Wagamama' campaign. This aims to remind customers of the options available to them, from 'light snacks to hearty main bowls, shareable plates, and family feasts.
' A key highlight of the new menu is the hot honey fried chicken and hot sweet fried vegan ‘chicken’, a spicy-sweet sharing dish. The menu also caters to those seeking lighter bites, with the inclusion of koko ‘prawn’ crackers, a vegan alternative to the traditional prawn cracker, and rainbow pickles with a tangy sweet and sour vinegar sauce. The menu also marks a collaboration with Rahel Stephanie, also known as Spoons.
She has introduced the crispy sambal fry, an Indonesian-inspired dish. This dish was initially exclusive to Wagamama’s noodle lab, but due to 'overwhelming demand', it has now been rolled out nationwide. It includes lightly battered chicken or firm tofu coated in garlic and red pepper powder, paired with mild tomato sambal, vibrant pickled slaw, coconut rice, and a chilled, turmeric-stained egg, with amai sauce on the side.
