Okay, folks, get ready for a good old fashioned Fisking, like mom used to make. Regular readers are aware of the cases of Daniel Penny and Luigi Mangione. Penny is the subway rider who confronted a man named Jordan Neely as Neely threatened passengers on the New York subway.

Penny held the guy down and, according to the prosecution, caused Neely's death. And of course, Luigi Mangione is the man who (allegedly) shot Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare. This is alleged video of the killing: Breaking: The surveillance footage capturing the assassination of United Health Care CEO Brian Thompson has been released.

https://t.co/pOrbdaCd5F And over at Vox, Zack Beauchamp is struggling to explain to his readers why conservatives celebrate Penny and condemn Mangione. Both are killing, after all! .

.. or something.

I wrote about the glaring contrast between conservatives assailing leftists for celebrating Luigi Mangione while they turn Daniel Penny into a folk hero https://t.co/VYk6eYdARw Seriously, he wrote a whole piece on this, and paywalled it. That is, someone decided that the piece is so good that you had to pay extra to read it.

We have read it so that you don’t have to. It is all part of a series called “on the right” where they struggle to understand why the right thinks the way it does. We have said for years that there is a certain breed of leftists who attempt to understand how conservatives think roughly the way Jane Goodall tries to understand chimpanzees.

Not by.
