Wednesday, October 2, 2024 Visit Qatar has officially partnered with the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) and United Development Company (UDC) to launch the first-ever Visit Qatar E1 Doha Grand Prix. The partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony on September 30th at the Corinthia Yacht Club, attended by key figures including Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar; Mr.
Alejandro Agag, Chairman of E1; and Mr. Ibrahim Jassim Al-Othman, President, CEO, and Board Member of United Development Company. Scheduled for February 21-22, 2025, the championship will feature the groundbreaking electric race boat, the RaceBird, and will take place at The Pearl Island in Doha.
The Visit Qatar E1 Doha GP promises to be a major event in the 2025 racing calendar, marking a pivotal moment in establishing a racing hub within the Middle East. The Corinthia Yacht Club will be the epicenter for E1’s exhilarating racing series, where teams will vie for the prestigious title of Champions of the Water. Eng.
