Wednesday, October 2, 2024 Visit Qatar has officially partnered with the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) and United Development Company (UDC) to launch the first-ever Visit Qatar E1 Doha Grand Prix. The partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony on September 30th at the Corinthia Yacht Club, attended by key figures including Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar; Mr.
Alejandro Agag, Chairman of E1; and Mr. Ibrahim Jassim Al-Othman, President, CEO, and Board Member of United Development Company. Scheduled for February 21-22, 2025, the championship will feature the groundbreaking electric race boat, the RaceBird, and will take place at The Pearl Island in Doha.
The Visit Qatar E1 Doha GP promises to be a major event in the 2025 racing calendar, marking a pivotal moment in establishing a racing hub within the Middle East.
