The Kiwi actor, famed for playing rugged bar owner Jack Sheridan in the popular Netflix show, guest-starred on Alexandra Breckenridge and Zibby Allen's podcast I Like You Very Much. In a candid chat, Martin unveiled his approach to acting and shared hilarious tales from behind the scenes.

The revelation that left Zibby in fits of laughter was Martin recounting one of his initial roles in a school production of Cinderella. He fondly recalled, "When I was 10 or 9 the school did a school show," and added, "And it was an adaptation of Cinderella. And it was kind of this weird musical", reports the Express .
