Wednesday, March 19, 2025 Viking® has officially taken delivery of its newest Viking Longship®, the Viking Nerthus , marking another milestone in the company’s expansion. The ship was presented this morning at Meyer’s Neptun Werft shipyard in Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany . Designed to accommodate 168 guests across 84 staterooms , the Viking Nerthus will join its sister ships on the Seine River , offering two captivating itineraries: the popular Paris & the Heart of Normandy and the newly introduced Christmastime in Paris & Normandy —both lasting eight days .
