Arjun Reddy (2017) actor Vijay Devarakonda’s latest video highlights how even superstars are not safe from being scammed. In his latest video, the Telugu cinestar is seen calling his pal and confirming whether they received the money or not. “ Wondering why I double checked with him ? Here’s why ,” the actor proceeds to explain.

A few days back, his friend got a call from someone claiming to be his father’s friend. The guy on the call wanted to return some money that he allegedly borrowed from his father. The trickster claimed that the father lended him 5000 rupees.

“Sounds fishy already, no? ” Devarakonda remarks. He stated that his friend even got a credit SMS. The text said 50,000 instead of 5000.

The scamster argued that he added the extra zero by mistake and wanted the friend to revert the extra Rs 45,000. He pleaded his case by making up some bogus story of his wife in the hospital. Fortunately for the actor’s friend, they were hanging out together and could check the actual bank statement to verify the claim.

The Liger (2022) actor reminds his fans to always double check with the bank statement and not fall for scams, as UPI is safe in itself. If someone tries to scam, Devarakonda suggests telling them, “ Main moorkh nahi hoon.” (I am not a fool.

) A post shared by Vijay Deverakonda (@thedeverakonda) There are at least six types of UPI fraud, including 1) phishing fraud, 2) OTP or PIN fraud, 3) UPI fraud via a screen mirroring app, 4) impersonating s.
