Thursday, December 26, 2024 A luxurious new tourist train, La Reine, made its debut at Da Lat Station in Lam Dong province and officially commenced operations on the Da Lat–Trai Mat route on Tuesday. The train’s sophisticated design blends elements of Indochinese and French architecture, inspired by the grandeur of Queen Nam Phuong’s Palace in Da Lat. Modern enhancements have been incorporated to ensure passenger comfort.
Each carriage features 36 side-aligned seats, offering panoramic views of the surrounding scenery. For families desiring privacy, VIP compartments provide an exclusive experience with 12 seats each. Vietnam Railways Corporation expressed optimism that La Reine will emerge as a captivating tourism offering, enticing a growing number of travelers.
After the launch of La Reine, various promotional offers will be introduced, such as discounted rates for round-trip tickets and special deals for groups of 10 or more. Passengers can also enjoy complimentary tea, access to free Wi-Fi, and live music performances during their journey..
