And while the veteran presenter, 53, returned on Monday, the station was plunged into chaos once again on Tuesday as Vernon Kay was forced off air under doctors orders.

The DJ, who presents the show after Zoe from 9:30am until midday, was replaced by Gaby Roslin after he came down with a nasty sore throat. During Monday's show Vernon, 50, sounded hoarse and under the weather as he just about made it through his show with the help of his team and some pre-recordings.
