Vanessa flashed her gorgeous smile as she posed for photos at the star-studded event which was held at the Hilton Bayfront hotel. She was joined at Comic-Con by new co-star Pedro Pascal as they posed for photos before taking to the stage to speak to fans.

Vanessa and Pedro revealed to PEOPLE following their stage appearance that they haven't had any guidance from previous Marvel members regarding joining the franchise and start filming next week. The actress said, 'We're the newbies.

We're the newbies and we're in the newbie process,' Pedro added: 'We fly back tonight and start the movie.' Vanessa confirmed: 'Yeah, we are. First day [is] in 24 hours.

' In the movie, Pedro plays Reed Richards, better known as Mister Fantastic while Vanessa Kirby takes on character Sue Storm, better known as the Invisible Woman. The Fantastic Four is set to be released in theaters in July 2025 and will be directed by Matt Shakman. The movie reportedly will 'center around Marvel's First Family.

' The first big-screen adaptation of Fantastic Four, released in 2005m starring Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis, grossed $154.6 million domestically and $333.5 million worldwide from a $100 million budget.

The 2007 sequel saw a slight decline, earning $131.9 million domestically and $301.9 million worldwide with an increased budget of $130 million.

However, the film was met with scathing reviews and reports of production turmoil, resulting in disappointing box office returns of $56.1 million domestically and $167.8 million worldwide, against a reported budget of $120 million.
