The former This Morning presenter is set to star in a new three-part series called Cast Away, where he'll be stranded on an island near Madagascar. Vanessa, who frequently appeared on This Morning and has known Phillip for many years, expressed her hope that this new venture will offer him some solace.
Despite being out of the TV spotlight for 16 months, Vanessa remains supportive. Speaking to The Sun while representing Heart Bingo, she said: "I'm surprised, but delighted, and I hope it's great entertainment, and I hope that he achieves from it whatever he wants to achieve." The television personality also mentioned her keen interest in watching the show, saying: "I'd like to see it, I'm intrigued to see it and I wish him all the very best.
