Patna : Unidentified assailants hacked to death a 30-year-old woman at Purani Bazar of Vaishali district in the wee hours of Wednesday. Land dispute is suspected to be the reason behind the killing, reports Kshitiz. The deceased, identified as Beauty Kumari, was living in a rented house with her two children.

Police said the exact motive behind the murder was yet to be ascertained, but her husband, Mithun Kumar, had a property dispute with his brother. Ten persons have been detained and are being interrogated, they added. During a heated property dispute, Vikas reportedly struck his father with pliers. Vinods wife, Urmila, filed a murder case, and Vikas was arrested after fleeing. The body was sent for a post-mortem examination.
