Friday, October 4, 2024 Seoul recently played host to the Uzbek-Korean Tourism Forum , a significant event in a series of “road show” initiatives aimed at promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential and strengthening partnerships with key international markets. The forum welcomed prominent figures, including Umid Shadiev, Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee, Alisher Abdusalamov, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to South Korea, and representatives from Uzbekistan Airways. The forum, held in the heart of South Korea’s capital, focused on showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and exploring new avenues of cooperation between tourism businesses in both countries.
Attendees gained valuable insights into the opportunities for collaboration, with particular attention given to the increasing demand for travel between Uzbekistan and South Korea.
