Uttarakhand has taken a monumental step in religious tourism by introducing a comprehensive tourist package, enabling pilgrims to visit the sacred Kailash peak from the Old Lipulekh pass, now accessible within Indian territory. Previously, devotees had to journey to the Tibet Autonomous Region to catch a glimpse of the revered Kailash peak.
