Silversea’s 2028 World Cruise, “An Ode to the Moment,” departs from Miami for a 132-day journey across 29 countries, starting January 5, 2028.Silversea has unveiled plans for its 2028 World Cruise, “An Ode to the Moment,” marking the first departure from Miami on one of its global voyages.The cruise, set aboard the Silver Shadow, will embark on January 5, 2028, for a 132-day expedition, concluding in Nice on May 16.

This extensive journey will take passengers to 58 ports in 29 countries, with 17 overnight stays, providing an immersive experience across multiple continents.The voyage’s route includes the Caribbean, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, enhancing the travel experience with over 30 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Guests will enjoy a rich program of specially designed events and have the option to participate in unique overland tours for deeper exploration.



Starting from Miami, the ship will cruise to Cartagena, making several stops in the Caribbean at locales such as Willemstad, Jost Van Dyke, Gustavia, and Kralendijk. The itinerary continues down the Pacific coast of South America, including a passage through the Panama Canal and visits to Lima, where passengers can delve into local customs and enjoy exclusive cultural festivities.The voyage offers a majestic sail around Cape Horn, with scenic views of the Chilean Fjords and Patagonia, and visits to Ushuaia and Buenos Aires.
