Cardi B, who had earlier suggested that Harris should be the Democratic Party’s candidate after President Joe Biden’s debate with the Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump, welcomed the news of Biden stepping down and endorsing Harris with excitement. DAILY POST reports that President Joe Biden stepped down as the Democratic Party candidate on Sunday and endorsed his vice, Kamala Harris, as the party’s flagbearer.

Reacting via her X handle, Cardi B wrote: “Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate...

Stop f*ckin playin with me!” Cardi B had told Rolling Stone in May that she won’t be voting in the November poll if the two major candidates remain incumbent President Joe Biden of the Democratic Party, and his predecessor, Donald Trump of the Republican Party. She explained that she used to see Trump as “a dire threat”, but under Biden, she felt “layers and layers of disappointment” from what she sees as domestic and foreign mismanagement.
