PRAYAGRAJ: Due to the non-availability of examination centres as per the standard, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission ( UPPSC ) postponed the Combined State Senior Subordinate Service, commonly known as PCS, preliminary examination 2024, which was proposed to be held on October 27 . Now, this examination is likely to be on December 7 and 8. In the review meeting to be held through video conferencing on October 18 under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh , the centre determination for the examination on December 7 and 8 will be discussed.
Although the commission has not clarified its stand regarding the dates. Controller of Examinations of the Commission, Harshdev Pandey , informed that in the govt order of June 19, 2024, as per the examination calendar of the Commission of June 3, the PCS Preliminary Examination-2024 to be held on October 27 is postponed. Now, the examination is likely to be conducted by mid-December.
