We have more newsletters Show Me No thanks, close See our Privacy Notice The cordon has been lifted on Welland Close in St Ives after the police carried out a search of a property this morning (November 18). The police uncovered 'suspicious items' and have arrested one man in connection to the search. A cordon was put in place on the road with people being asked to evacuate their homes.
A specialist EOD team of officers were sent to the scene. The cordon has now been lifted and residents have been allowed to go back to their houses. The man remains in custody.
