As the festive season approaches, the Indian automotive market is gearing up for a wave of new car and SUV launches, with six major manufacturers introducing a range of models including Tata Nexon CNG, Mercedes Maybach EQS, Kia Carnival and more. These include compact SUVs, luxury sedans, and electric vehicles. Six major carmakers are all set to introduce a diverse range of vehicles, offering everything from compact SUVs to luxury sedans, and even cutting-edge electric vehicles. This festive season, customers can look forward to a wide array of options that cater to different tastes and budgets. Tata Nexon CNG Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the CNG version of its popular compact SUV, the Tata Nexon. This new variant is special because it will be the first factory-fitted CNG model with a turbocharged engine in India. It will offer both manual and AMT (automated manual transmission) gearbox options, providing more flexibility to buyers.

The Nexon CNG is expected to be priced around Rs 1 lakh more than the equivalent petrol version. The official prices will be announced soon, adding another eco-friendly option to the Nexon lineup. Tata Curvv The Tata Curvv, a stylish coupe-SUV, is set to make its debut with both petrol and diesel engine options.

The launch is scheduled for September 2, and the Curvv is expected to be priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 22 lakh. It will offer three engine choices, including two 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engines and a 1.

5-litre diesel engine. The Curvv will come with advanced features similar to those found in the Curvv EV, making it a strong competitor in the compact SUV segment against models like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Hyundai will introduce the updated version of its three-row SUV, the Alcazar, on September 5.

The facelifted Alcazar will feature new design elements, such as H-patterned DRLs (daytime running lights) and H-shaped tail-lights, along with new 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior will also get upgrades, including connected car technology and an ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite. The engine options remain the same, with a 1.

5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Prices for the updated Alcazar are expected to be slightly higher than the current model.

MG Windsor EV MG Motor India is preparing to launch its all-new electric vehicle, the MG Windsor, on September 11. The Windsor EV is a five-seater car designed with a focus on comfort, especially for rear-seat passengers. It features a large infotainment screen, digital dials, and a panoramic sunroof.

The Windsor is expected to offer two battery pack options, providing a range of up to 460 km. With an expected price under Rs 20 lakh, Windsor will compete with electric models like the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400. Kia Carnival Kia is set to launch the facelifted version of its popular MPV, the Kia Carnival, later this year.

The new Carnival will be larger than its predecessor and will feature a more rugged design. Inside, the MPV will boast a minimalist interior with two 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and driver information.

The Carnival will likely be offered in 7, 9, and 11-seat configurations, but the exact options for India are yet to be confirmed. The new Carnival is expected to be priced at around Rs 50 lakh. Audi Q6 e-tron Audi is planning to launch its new electric SUV, the Q6 e-tron, in early September.

The Q6 e-tron will be positioned between entry-level electric SUVs and larger luxury models. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 85 lakh and will be locally assembled in India. The Q6 e-tron will feature a 100 kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 625 km, depending on the variant.

Audi is likely to introduce the higher-spec 388 hp Quattro variant first, with the performance-oriented SQ6 e-tron to follow next year. Mercedes Benz E-Class The sixth-generation Mercedes E-Class, known for its long-wheelbase design, is expected to be launched soon, with bookings starting next month. This luxury sedan will offer updated interior features, including a multi-screen layout with a 14.

4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The E-Class will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options, and it is expected to be priced upwards of Rs 85 lakh, making it a direct competitor to the BMW 5 Series LWB. Kia EV9 Kia will introduce its flagship electric SUV, the EV9, which is expected to be priced similarly to high-end models like the BMW iX and Mercedes EQE SUV.

The EV9 will feature a three-row cabin with advanced technology, including a digital panel with three screens. The EV9 will be powered by a 99.8 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 563 km.

Kia is expected to launch both the 203 hp RWD version and the 384 hp AWD model in India. Mercedes Benz Maybach EQS SUV Mercedes-Benz will launch the Maybach EQS SUV in India on September 5. This ultra-luxurious electric SUV will come with a powerful 658 hp dual-motor setup and a 108.

4 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 600 km. The Maybach EQS SUV will feature luxurious details like a dual-tone paint scheme and special Maybach logos. It is expected to be priced around Rs 4 crore, offering unmatched luxury and performance.
