Actor Upasana Singh recently opened up about her missed opportunity to play the lead role of Suman in the 1989 blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya . Speaking in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Upasana shared how she was the first choice for the role that ultimately went to Bhagyashree. The revelation provided a fascinating insight into the casting process of the iconic film, which marked the debut of Salman Khan as a leading man.
Director Sooraj Barjatya Initially Selected Upasana Singh Recalling her first interaction with director Sooraj Barjatya, Upasana revealed that he was impressed with her audition. “He told me everything about the film and my role. And he selected me.
