Netflix's Bridgerton and the film Les Miserables are celebrated for their stunning settings. But why just appreciate them on-screen when you can experience them firsthand? Instagram travel influencer Samuel, known as @lostinsamuel, has shared a post revealing how to do exactly that, with a tour of the famous city of Bath. Samuel's video highlights the beautiful landscape of the area, featuring a canal, houses, pubs, and other landmarks.

The overlay text discloses: "This city is the backdrop of Jane Austen, Bridgerton and Les Miserables, just 1.5-hours away from London." In his caption, Samuel encourages his followers to visit the must-see English city, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its grand architecture and Roman remains.



He writes: "Save this must-visit city in England. This UNESCO World Heritage city is famous worldwide for its imposing architecture and Roman remains. Its vibrant and charm vibe makes this city unique!" He adds: "From Jane Austen novels as Persuasion to the Bridgeton or Les Miserables and other films like The Pursuit of Love, Bath house them!", reports .

Interestingly, Harry Potter was filmed at Lacock Abbey, situated 13 miles east of Bath. The city has also inspired numerous authors, including Charles Dickens, Mary Shelley, Anna Sewell, and Henry Fielding. The individual then listed: "These are a few locations from the previous stories in Bath, Somerset: Green Park Station, Bath Street, Hot Bath Street, The Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge, Brock Street, Gravel Walk, Palladian Bridge - Prior Park, Beauford Square, Trim Street, Edward Street.

" This social media post certainly sparked interest, quickly garnering over 10,000 likes. One thrilled user commented: "I loved Bath so much! The walking tours are so awesome, like walking in the footsteps of Jane Austin! I stayed at a lovely Georgian BandB on the outskirts but on the bus line. The views from my bedroom were amazing of the surrounding hills.

" Another user recalled being in Bath during Netflix filming, stating: "I was there as they were filming Bridgerton." Meanwhile, another user expressed their disappointment at not visiting yet, writing! Wow, so gorgeous! I really wanted to go on this last London trip but we didn't have enough time." Another person shared their experience too, adding: "I visited Bath a few months ago and wish I could've stayed longer.
