Home carrier United Airlines could potentially bring its largest jets back to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) next spring to serve three transatlantic routes. The Star Alliance carrier is reportedly looking to bring the type back for flights to Frankfurt, alongside routes to Dubai and Rome. The remaining 204 seats are in standard economy. The widebodies last operated from Newark in October 2023, when they operated routes to Brussels (BRU), Frankfurt (FRA), and San Francisco (SFO). Earlier in 2023, the type also served Tokyo Narita (NRT), based on scheduling data from Cirium .
